  • Nationally-speaking, City Light is quite remarkable. It's one of the largest publicly-owned municipal utilities in the country, and the first to own and operate a hydroelectric facility. Public-ownership has been a consistent feature in how City Light talks about itself dating back to its inception. The central thesis of the utility's marketing materials: public responsibility for power makes the city stronger.
  • "Serving Seattle with Light, Power & Pride" was the utility's preferred slogan through the late 1980s and 1990s, and we think it pairs perfectly with a Dickies Eisenhower work jacket. The front of this jacket features our favorite City Light logo along with our own.
  • Slightly roomier fit, 65% polyester/35% cotton, printed in Seattle.
