  • Published in 2019, High Voltage Women is a history written by Ellie Belew of ten women and their fight for equitable employment at Seattle City Light in the 1970s. Their participation in the Electrical Trades Trainee program and activism broke down barriers and changed the labor landscape of both City Light and Local 77 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
  • This tee features archival materials relating to these women—their photos, the logos of their tongue-in-cheek group "RSB" and the Affirmative Action Program and the flier for their panel 1974 discussion, held at the First A.M.E. Church in Capitol Hill.
  • Profits from the sale of this tee will go to the Jubilee Women's Center
  • Fits true to size, 100% cotton, printed in Seattle.
